I have a Synopsys installation with fpga_shell and fpga_shell-t. If I go to
fpga_shell, I can say 'help link_library' or 'list link_library'. In
fpga_shell-t, that command is meaningless.
Can someone help me understand a way to access the help files in
fpga_shell-t as opposed to fpga_shell, please?

fpga_shell-t means FPGA Express in Tcl/Tk mode. It uses another type of
command set.
Try read Tcl/Tk related documents and find out how.
Look at
