The amusing thing is that even components intended for medical
applications will carry a warning about not using them for
medical applications.
If you're so worried about blood pressure, maybe that's something
you really should buy off the shelf, since it's an area you don't
want errors or problems to come in.

Harbor Freight is NOT a pharmacy.
Thats cheap, of course ON SALE. Typical price is not usually less than $30 and
more like $40, and thats a cheap unit.
I paid $40 for my wrist monitor, and its basically crap. It
does not work on me. Readings are all over the place.

So, a pharmacy can sell motor oil and cheap tools, but no one else is
allowed to sell a Blood Pressure Monitor?

I see that price in their store most of the time. I don't see it
listed in any of their current sales flyers. I see similar prices in
the weekly sales flyers for national drug store chains as well. I no
longer take the paper, so I don't have any current flyers available.

to use them.

I was only reffering to the pharmacy statement.

Last time I was pricing them at K-Mart, nothing much under $50.
I take mine with the standard old type, and its a known fact, some
people just can't use the wrist monitor. I have tried ever which way to make it work
for me. No way. It will come up with the right numbers every 10th try.
